And the video clips keep pouring in - this one courtesy of Focus on the Family and blogger Christopher Kou. There's plenty to enjoy in this preview, including thoughts from director Paul McCusker, Douglas Gresham, Andy "Screwtape" Serkis, and Philip "Malachi" Glassborrow!

Malachi? You mean our friendly neighbourhood angel from Odyssey is in this?
ReplyDeleteI guess it would have been too boring for it to be one long series of monologues in radio as the original was? They seem to have several characters, unlike the original.
Haha, I didn't mean to insinuate that Malachi will be in "The Screwtape Letters." I just wanted to point out that Philip Glassborow, the Casting Director for this production, also played the voice of Malachi - in case people didn't notice.
ReplyDeleteBoth of the new videos are awesome! Thanks for posting them!
ReplyDeletewow andy serkis is amazing! he gets into character really well well done good jod all of you amazing video! thankyou very much for uploading it
ReplyDeleteVery cool. After recently re-reading the Screwtape Letters, I was thinking of how neat if would be if it were done as an audio. For those who have trouble getting through the book, this should definetly help somewhat.
ReplyDeleteI just received permission from Pete through our marketer to use the old version of the video until the new one is available. When I get the new one (hopefully within the next few days) I'll just replace the file on my server. Links should update automatically. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHey you guys! I think I know where Odyssey is! I looked where Campbell county is, and it's in Kuntucky! So, maybe...Odyssey is in Kuntucky! Campbell county (in Odyssey) is where the school district is and the collage too. Check out the Campbell county Wiki page here: www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Campbell_County_Kuntucky

Good try, jojoguy. But I think we already know Odyssey is really in Ohio. ;)
ReplyDeleteCheck out Jacob Isom's list of Where Odyssey is Not.
OK, sorry 'bout that.
