"Accidental Dilemma II" Translation

Man: Bonjour, monsieur. Qu'est-ce que vous voulez?
Hello, sir. What would you like?

Whit: Je cherche pour quelqu'un s'appelle Jason Whittaker?
I am looking for someone named Jason Whittaker.

Man: Il est la.
He’s over there.

Whit: Merci.

Man: De rien.
No problem.

  1. Wow, pretty impresive that you came up with that!

  2. Hey, he's Canadian! French up there is like Spanish down here. Except a little more so. I think. :)

  3. Note the grammatical errors in "Je cherche pour quelqu'un s'appelle Jason Whittaker?"

The first is that "pour" (for) is wrong because the French "chercher" means "to look for".

The second is that it should be "quelqu'un qui", that is, "someone who".

Thankfully, these were errors made on Whit's part (an American). I would have had to start boycotting AIO if they had a French native speak such atrocious French.

  4. I don't know alot of french but I can translate. It sounds like Montreal French.
